I was reading the Word this morning and my book marker was a sheet of paper I had written some verses on dealing with the power of your words.  This got me to thinking and searching for other scripture dealing with the power of your words.  Check this one out: Proverbs 18:20 – a man’s belly shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled.  then it goes on to state in verse 21 that “life and death are in the power of the tongue”.

The word “belly” here does not mean just stomach, but a person’s inside.  So of course is not just talking about a person’s belly being full but mainly his whole being, and I guess you could say his life.  The word “fruit” means Reward.  So what this scripture is saying explicitly is that you will be filled in your life according to the reward of your words.  My oh my!!  My oh my oh me!! Your words are so Powerful concerning every part of your life.  ANd according to THe Truth, you will be filled according to the words you are speaking.

Man now that ought to “jerk a knot in your butt.”  Check up on yourself and make sure you are using your words to produce “life” and not “death” in your health and life.
