How to Reduce Stress! And reap Better Health


nyctsHere is one of my favorite pics of all time!  Me and my baby in NYC.  I took her to New York City as a surprise Bday present a few years ago.  Me being a good ole country boy I really had no desire to go other than I knew she would love it.  And to just be honest I had to do some “self” convincing to talk myself into doing it.  I really did not want to go and honestly just thought I would not have much fun.  She likes to travel where as I am more of a home body.  Anyway, long story short I did talk myself into going ahead with it and surprising her.  I set the whole thing up and it was a total surprise toher.  We went and man did I absolutely love it.  I had so much fun and the whole time not really expecting to.  The only thing I did was put down my own desire and did something for someone else.  Hmm, sounds like a Godly Principle at work there.  He Says “whatever you do for others, HE will do for you.”

This is a real and True Principle that works for everyone, everytime.  Now remember that He said “HE” would do for you.  HE did not say when you do good for others, “they” will do good back to you.  There is a huge difference there.  And yes all this does completely 100% tie into your health.  There are many things you can do to improve your health and HELPING others is one of them.  When you take the focus off of YOU and put it on Others, it does many things positively for you and your health.  One of the biggest things is that if you are focusing on others and HELPING THEM, you can’t focus so much on “your” problems.  And anytime you can take your focus off your problems, you reduce Stress.  And anytime you can Reduce Stress, it almost always (maybe always) will help to improve your Health and your LIFE!!
