Remember to use the Summertime to Motivate you to improve your health and to make extra effort to Get Moving! I know it is hot outside, but dont use that as an excuse. Get moving early in the mornings and or late in the evenings. Stay HYDRATED. Have Fun. Here is a list of things you can use the SUMMERTIME time to help give you a push to improve your health:
FRESH VEGETABLES! Get your hands on some “locally grown” vegetables and fruits. The Johnson’s we love picking fresh Blackberries during the summer!
SWIM, SKI, Tube, – Get out on the water! If you like that.
Swimsuit time- Most of us go to the Beach during the summer so use that to Motivate yourself to get more Consistent with Exercise and Good Nutrition!
Family Fun- with kids out of school you can plan more “Active” type activities for the kids, and the whole famiy
End of Summer- Set a goal/s for the end of summer like September 1 to be at a certain level of Fitness as far as weight loss, strength gains, etc.
