Here is a quick, simple, and nutritious meal I made one evening for dinner (supper if you are down in Garfield): 3 Eggs over medium, 1 whole Avocado. This meal is full of good protein, fat, vitamins and minerals!
When it comes to Nutrition, remember dont make it so durn hard on yourself. If you are the type that really “WILL” stick to a very strict diet then great. Do it! Just make sure that “strict diet” is a “nutritious” one. For most though, “strict diets” are not going to do much for them because they simply will not stick to it. And that is not being negative, it is just being real. (See LeAnne, I can be “realistic” sometimes!! When I want to I guess!) If you are one of the “most” then KNOW that you still can make great strides in TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR HEALTH AND LIFE, just by making a few small adjustments in your diet along the way. Dont worry about “messing” up. Who cares if you “mess up”. Just dont focus on that. Make a decision to simply make some “good” and “positive” change each day such as:
Drink water only
Eat Fruit instead of chips or bread
Eat no grains for the day or 2 meals
Cut back on the portions of any “non healthy” meals
**Literally tell yourself by your Thoughts and your Mouth that “I AM IN CONTROL OF FOOD, AND MY BODY. I WILL NOT ALLOW MY BODY OR FOOD TO CONTROL ME. I CAN EAT ANYTHING I WANT TO, BUT I CHOOSE TO CONTROL FOOD AND THEREFORE CONTROL MY BODY.”
