What we Teach at Summer kids Camps! *Attention Adults!

This pic is from one of  last summer’s GAME SHAPE Camps.  All the kids had a great time and got a lot in during this 4 day Camp!

In our GAME SHAPE after school and Summer Camp programs we focus on these key areas:

Improving Speed, Agility, Quickness

Improving Bodyweight Control and Strength

Improving Balance, Stability

Increasing Endurance

Teaching them GOD’S LOVE FOR THEM & WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST

Now of all the areas, we believe the last one is the most important.  Just like with adults, we believe that this is the FOUNDATION.  As kids understand more about how much God truly Loves them and the awesome power and ability He has rendered to them thru Jesus Christ, the more they will walk in Confidence and Peace.   And we all know how important it is to be able to walk and live in Confidence and Peace. 

One thing that I have come to find out in my 18 years (wow, almost 20 years!!) of coaching Health and Life improvement, is that the more you understand WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST and what He has empowered you with, the more likely you are to succeed in your health and life goals.  Remember God wants us to literally PROSPER (do well) in this life.  Yes He knows that we will face adversity, but thru the power He has given us, we can, and actually already have overcome!  Once you know this and continually FOCUS on this Truth, it just helps you to walk more and more in the Fullness of what He did for YOU Thru JESUS CHRIST!
