Check out “Dad and son” doing some Speed & Agility drills this morning at 6:00am! The “son” usually works out with us for Tennis Sports Performance afterschool, but since he could not come this afternoon, he chose to come this morning with his dad before school. Committed! Thats the best word to describe this young man.
This young man’s COMMITMENT to excellence and to doing his best, is a great example for all of us to follow. He has a very busy schedule, especially for a young person, and excels at school and Tennis. This morning is a prime example of his commitment. He had school stuff that was going to keep him from coming this afternoon at his regular time. Instead of just forgoing his workout here at GB, he chose to get up extra, extra early this morning before school and get done what he knew would benefit him. He didnt use schedule changes, being tired, or any other excuse. He didnt allow these real issues to become an excuse. He just found a way to make happen what he determined as important to DO in order to make the progress he wants to make.
We all have issues come up in life. We all get tired. We all face some pretty hard things sometimes. In all this, we still can choose to do the “correct” things that need to be done in order to get the Results we want in our health and lives. Basically, we simply have to decide in our heart, and our mind that there is NO EXCUSE. We just are people who choose to walk out and BE the OVERCOMER that we already are In Christ. Ye baby! You can, and you will! Get on it dog’on it!
