Friends and neighbors

Man what a weekend.  I had the extreme privilege to be part of a weekend camp for young men to teach them about living the “Zoe” life.  That basically is “life as God has it” and life as He intends for us to live it.  It was so powerful and the boys really had an intense weekend of spiritual, mental, and physical training. 

My parent in laws were the ones to start this up and man have they put a whole bunch of time effort and money into it.  Trust me we expected it to do great, but it turned out even better than we could have imagined.  God gave the vision for this camp to them only 3 months ago and then bam we had our first camp with tremendous results!!  Now many people when they hear something like this they only see the end results and say, “Wow look how easy and how fast that happened.”  Well they dont see all the prayer, time, effort, and money that went into it.  And that is just like most every other successful venture in life.  Many people see the end results and say that they too want that whether it be relationships, money, health, job, etc.  But unfortunately many are only looking for the results and not willing to put forth the time and effort.  Basically they are not willing to pay the price!

There was some tremendous seed planted into those 5 boys this weekend and they were “good soil” to be planting into.  and we know that we are going to see a great harvest from this first camp, with many more to come.  So for that we are very blessed and grateful.  But I want you to realize that in order to see such a tremendous result there had to be some serious and consistent prayer, listening to God, and obeying.  There was a lot of work involved by many people, especially by my in laws, but the PAYOFF was oh so worth it.   

You can accomplish great things in life, and God has purposed you for that.  It is His will for you to “prosper” in your health and life, but it is going to take you “doing” those things that need to be done.  ANd it is going to take you choosing to stay consistent and fully expecting to see the desired results no matter what it looks like, choosing to never ever give up.
