This is a picture of a “salad” I had for lunch some time back.  It is very similar to the salads I ate last week for 3 days in a row after I ate that big fat double cheeseburger, fries, and large chocolate shake!  If you did not read that post go back a few posts and check it out.

So one of the things I talked about was how for the most part I eat pretty healthy.  **(please realize as I have stated many times that I in know way profess to be a super healthy eater.  I do not let Food control me, and at the same time I am in no way perfect.  Now there you go.) There are times where I will eat a “not so healthy” meal like the big double cheeseburger, etc.  Not all the time, but many times after one or more consecutive meals that may be off my normal decent eating pattern, I will follow that up with more “purposed” healthier meals.  ANd this is what I did last week.

The monday after that specific meal, LeAnne had bought a good bit of salad mix and we baked a bunch chicken.  Also, I was kind of craving the salads.  So I ate salads consisting of baked chicken, greens salad mix, and different fruits.  And I ate these 1-2 times a day for 3 days, along with some other “healthy” foods of course.  It was not that I was necessarily trying “to make up” for my not so healthy eating, but it did kind of work out that way.  So this is a good tip to remember going forward: If and when you do splurge on Food, do a good job of following up for several days later by focusing in a little extra on eating healthier!  Simple.  Works.  Get on it dog’on it!
