Check out this awesome pic (from my phone!) of CHICAGO!  LeAnne and I were there this weekend and I took this photo from Navy Pier.  Chicago is a beautiful city and I was amazed at the different looks, structures, and designs of the buildings.  One of my favorite parts was the old marquee signs and Clocks on the corners of some buildings.  It was pretty good stuff!  We had a very good time.

Probably my favorite “take-away” from the whole trip was the “good folks” I ran into while in Chicargo (the way Mamma and Papa say it).  The very first 2 “chicago people” I talked with were extremely helpful as I was trying to find my way from the airport to the hotel where LeAnne was, by train.  They actually started the conversation, I guess I looked like I needed help!  Anyway, in all, the 4 people I asked and or got help from to get to the hotel were all extra nice and helpful.  It is funny because I honestly, and unfortunately, expected “chicargo” people to be rude.  **(pretty poor assumption on my part.)  Anyway, I was very pleasantly suprised by the people and the city overall.  It just goes to show more and more that we live in such an awesome COUNTRY, THE GREAT USA, and we have some of the best people in the world, all throughout our country!

This may not seem like it has anything to do with “Health and Life Improvement” but it has a whole lot to do with it.  First and foremost I just wanted to use this to Encourage people that this country, and our people, are still GREAT!  We are still Blessed to live in this great country.  I know there is a lot of negativity going on now.  And there always has been and always will be.  Yes it may be more now (or it may just be that we are made more aware of it now because of media), but still there is so much to be HOPEFUL ofAnd the more HOPEFUL we are, the better health and life we will live out.  And the more HOPEFUL we are, the better we will be able to HELP others!  Ye baby!
