The BEST approach to Improving Your Health, and Life!

I have been studying more into the whole “spirit, soul, body” approach to fitness.  As you know, this is the approach we use here at God-Built and have used since day 1.

And now I am convinced more than ever that this is the best way to approach improving your health!  I didn’t come up with it, I was blessed to be led to study and use this “system” well before we opened up God-Built.

I am going to give you a quick review of what we teach:

If you are going to most effectively take control of your health and life, you must use the correct order to grow the “whole person”: Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Spirit- Know first and foremost that God is for you, He Loves you, and He wants you to be healthy.

  • Everyone has a different idea of what “healthy” is to them.  This is relative.  You just decide, with His help, what healthy means to you, then trust Him to help you get there.
  • As you understand more about His love for you, you will understand more about just Who you are, In Christ.  This knowing will empower you like nothing else!

Soul- Mind, Will, & Emotions – Our Soul part of our being are simply Tools that God has given us to Control, and to use to steer our health and lives in the right direction.

  • We can control our mind by choosing what we think on.  We can control our mouth to Speak the Words He wants us speaking: Words of life.  We can control our emotions and we do not have to let them control us.

Body- Exercise and Nutrition.  These are very important components of the whole “health” equation, yet they are not the most important.

  • As we use the first 2 parts of our being, Spirit & Soul, the body part is much easier to handle.  I truly believe we can change our health from the inside out.
  • Knowing the love of God inside, living in His Peace and Faith, controlling our thoughts and words, and steering our emotions the correct way will literally cause good health to ignite inside and show up on the outside.  Then at the same time we are doing some form of Exercise (Moving), and controlling our Nutrition, and our health improves.  Sometimes it improves drastically!

 

There you go.  That is just a quick overview of what and how we have taught health here at God-Built since day 1.  We haven’t always done the best job of teaching it I know, but we have done it for years now.

I believe God is opening up doors for us to be more effective at teaching what we believe is His way of approaching health, and life improvement.  And to me, the most important issue here is that He is helping me, you, and others through this type of training to see HOW MUCH HE LOVES US!
